It’s been a long while since I have posted anything because life sure does have a way of being completely busy. I figure it is better to live my life then narrate some of what happened rather than write my life and fail to live it to its fullest. I don’t think of it as an excuse but a reason so you’ll have to bear with me. First I have to say how incredible it is to have the knowledge that family adds safety, security and hope; it is so essential. We have been abundantly blessed to have a family built on love respect and of course fun.

Recently Tad and I have been working with our newest Fertility Endocrinologist and finding that I have PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) among other fertility issues to work through. Learning we have an 8% chance of having our own children if we do treatments to support my system was surprisingly not a motivation for me to want to go through the adoption process because I had already made the decision to open my heart and mind to the Lord about adoption.
About a year ago I was thinking about adoption. And believe me there is a whole lot to think about! It has been a process that I now think is so special, and has changed me forever. I had an inspired realization that we are ALL GOD’s children first and that those children come to us by the Lord's design whether we have them or whether they are placed into our family through adoption. We are sent to this earth to gain a family, to have experiences and to learn lessons that will hopefully enable us to return to his presence. We are excited to announce we are starting the paperwork needed to make adoption possible. We are SO amazed to see the blessings that come to us that reaffirm this is what we are meant to do. Getting ready for that spirit to be in our home has been a wild ride that has refined us.
In the hope we will be better prepared for our little one to be smothered in LOVE we have to get them here first! To do that I am lunching
Project... Booties for Baby meets Beanies for Baby!
And it is all coming together... with your help!

Here are a few simple examples of what we have to look forward to! (KEEP IN MIND that the booties are from last year in November so you will want to look at that post for details! But here are a few of the beanies I've started that are available now!

It is quickly becoming that time of year when the cold begins to nip at your toes. When you look around to see the falling leaves the pumpkins for carving and the cider and hot chocolate beginning to brew. Yes! It means it is the time of year for orders for...
Booties for Baby
If you are not familiar with booties for baby, let me give you the condensed version. My husband and I are in the process of earning and saving funds so that we can start our family. We are continuously trying to find ways to be self sufficient in providing the funds we need to do this, however infertility and adoption are not so nice on the wallet per say. In the end we have found that it is completely necessary to have fundraisers and other means to get the funds to help our dream of having a family come true!

I hand crochet little slippers that we call booties and use all the funds earned to go toward supporting our tests and adoption costs. THANK you for your love and support, we can't do it without the love and compassion of others.

Approximate Costs for the booties are below and are subject to change.
Newborn begin at$7.00 +
Infant begin at $15.00 +
Toddler begin at $18.00 +
